B O L D
BOLD is a pro-bono committee within the HBO Max Growth Marketing organization, striving to make a real change and be held as leaders in cultural diversity. This is a weekly, ongoing meeting where leaders can listen to voices from all levels of the org, in an effort to make real, meaningful actions that expand opportunities. BOLD was created in 2020, sparked by the outrage over the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and so many other Black Americans who were unjustly and cruelly murdered by law enforcement. We aimed to shine a light on these real civil rights issues that were affecting our colleagues and loved ones. It started with a social outcry that lead to a positive movement within a corporate structure, opening up the floor to voices from all backgrounds and orientations in a safe space.
I have been part of the ideation of BOLD from its inception. Although there are many cool projects I have worked on at HBO Max, BOLD is by far one that I'm most proud of. I was able to concept and create the branding, which included logos, letterheads, custom motion animation for Lifecycle emails, newsletters, and branded swag.
