At HBOMAX, I worked on many different projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders. Each project here was a joy to work on. Sometimes a pain…but mostly joy. Many times projects require quick turnarounds and close collaboration with teammates. Born in a time where all of our team members were working together, remotely, I’m proud of our accomplishments in executing such amazing work. Below is a hand-selected few of my favorite projects in collaboration with a talented group of writers, editors, and motion designers.

Fantastic beasts: the secrets of dumbledore
One of my favorite projects to work on was for The Secrets of Dumbledore. Here you can see designs for paid media ad templates in various different sizes.
RETENTION SOCIAL VIDEO
Working together with the video editing team, copywriters, and motion designers, we executed a custom retention video to entice users to come back to the HBOMAX platform. The tactic involved custom graphics with minimal and social-friendly aesthetics to add a sense of fun and excitement.
I used Figma to create a mock UI that gives users a sense of familiarity with social media platforms, while bringing them into the HBOMAX branded world.

astrology campaign
We wanted to create customized cards for each month based off the astrological sign to reveal what users should be watching. With the help of our editorial writers and copy team, we attributed our most loved characters from shows like Euphoria, Gossip Girl, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and more, to reveal characters that relate to that sign.
Once the designs were finalized, we worked with our motion designer to add stunning dimensions and animations to each custom card.

TITANs snap story
In this high engagement snapchat story, I worked with the video editing team, copywriters, and motion designers to create custom graphics for DC’s TITANS.
This project required multiple levels of collaboration to execute. The visuals needed to match the overall ‘vibe’ of the video, which would showcase cool fight scenes. Each element of the graphics needed to be easy to manipulate for the motion designers to animate. I worked with the copywriters to make sure the messaging would fit within the typographical treatment that was created. Every element was taken into consideration here, including the story progression graphic on the top.
